I am Léo Espinoza, I am 17 years old, and I live in the United States. I live in Texas and I was born in Columbia, Maryland. I am a transgender Peruvian, Mexican, and Native man. I am proud of all of my identities and I am unapologetically myself. I enjoy coding, drawing, cosplaying, and making jewelry and cosplay pieces. Most things I learned about ai were a surprise to me because I’ve never worked with ai before. I mostly just make programs without ai. I don’t know what I’m going to do as my career yet so I don’t know the extent that this course can help me. However, I do know that I’ve enjoyed myself here and I’ve expanded my knowledge of programming and ai. In the future I might want to take a course on graphic design. I’ve always enjoyed fonts and other similar frills. I think this course has prepared me for university by teaching me more about ai. It also helped me by showing me a more university style way of learning. It showed me basic things about ai, which I didn’t know prior. This course has prepared me for university admissions by teaching me more about ai. With the knowledge I’ve learned I can expand my resume and learn even more. I enjoyed neural networks the most because it was the subject I was most curious about. I plan to learn more about AI on my own time, and I will probably try to learn more over the summer. I took a coding class last year but my school is small. There are no coding classes past the basics so if I want to learn more about ai or coding in general it will have to be on my own. Neural networks are systems comprised of layers of code. They are made to mimic neurons in the brain. They come to conclusions similar to the way a brain would. We used neural networks in class by inputting figures into one. The neural network then came to a conclusion. We also studied the different aspects of one. I’ve always been more of a tinkerer than anything. I think I’d like to experiment more with AI but I don’t have any specific plans in mind. It helped by breaking them down. My instructor, Nishit, helped me a lot by making sure I understood everything before moving on. We went at a slow pace. I didn’t really expect the image generator at all. I also didn’t expect that it would take so long to generate the images. I found it interesting how talented each of my peers were at coding. I was able to help them by clarifying their or Nishit’s wording and occasionally answering questions. They helped me by asking questions that I also had. Nishit is very kind and always makes sure everyone is caught up. He helps everyone no matter how long it takes. I might want to take a graphic design course after this one, for I enjoyed it a lot.
